WHAT IS PORTER?
Black or chocolate malts are used to create this dark, almost black traditional English beer. Slight sweet chocolate is a characteristic flavour profile of this style. Hop aromas and flavours take a back seat allowing the malt to dominate resulting in a more moderate alcohol content, typically between 4 – 7% ABV.
